UIS Innovation Center & District Feedback Form

Feedback Form:

University of Illinois Springfield

Innovation Center & Innovation District

Your input and engagement is important to us

UIS has been selected as the first hub of the Illinois Innovation Network (IIN), a system of connected university-community-industry-based hubs throughout the state that will work together to drive innovation, economic development and workforce development across Illinois. It utilizes a combination of research, public-private partnerships, entrepreneurship, and workforce training programs. Governor Pritzker recently announced the release of state funding for the IIN.

The goal of the hub is to advance the regional economy by working with industry partners, government, civic organizations and other higher education institutions to build a robust and inclusive human capital and innovation pipeline focused on the following five strategic areas:

  • Business Incubation and Acceleration
  • Technology & Research Commercialization
  • Social Innovation
  • Public Policy Research
  • Workforce Development & Education

Please help us plan for the hub in downtown Springfieldby providing feedback to the questions below.  This form will be available until midnight on March 15, 2020

We look forward to your input as we develop these efforts.
